It was a very cold and rainy day in Bartow, GA today (a good day for a nap, but no nap). Mallie had gymnastic today so we went to Swainboro while Brian, Abby and Kaden stayed home and enjoyed beening inside a warm dry home.
Tired little boy after his shopping trip on Saturday!
We had a nice Thanksgiving (calm and quite) and I had a great Black Friday. I left home on Thursday around 4:00 p.m. and head to Commerece, GA for a great night of shopping (all night) left there Friday around 5:00 a.m. and headed to Augusta for some more shopping. I was so tried after all that shopping I got a long and good nights sleep (14 hrs) and I needed it. Back to Augusta on Saturday with the family for supper at the Outback and a little shopping at Best Buy. Sunday was a day for washing and drying clothes and cleaning up.

Mallie finally asleep!
We spent the day at home today. This morning we went outside to play because Kaden stood by the door for 30 minutes trying to get out. He loves to be outside! The girls spent the day drawings, making pictures, and fussing (they are good at that). Finally, they are in the bed and I can have some me time. Also, I would like to wish my brother a Happy Birthday! (see video Uncle Clete)
Today, I took the children to Chuckecheese. My children love Chuckecheese (favorite place)! We had a great day. We had lunch and they played for about two hours and then a little shopping at Toys r us and Target. I am so thankful for three healthy and beautiful children.
Today, we had our Thanksgiving meal at my parents because they will be out of town on Thursday. We also had Thanksgiving supper at our church tonight and you know what that means we gained about ten pounds just today, but it was good!
The girls are ready for school on Friday, the last day before Thanksgiving holidays (they have the whole week off). Abby's class had a Thanksgiving Feast at lunch and we had to take green beans for the Feast!
This Thursday at Gymnastics Abby had Gymkids Progress Performance and she did great! She had to do bar routine (alone), beam routine (alone), and floor routine (group) and some skills. She did great --- I am so proud of her she is finally getting out of that shy stage. Mallie had Gymkids Progress Performance for her class on Monday, but she missed it because we had plans to go to the concert. Maybe she will get her medal this Monday (I hope so or she will be one sad little girl). Hope you enjoy the short video of the performance.
Abby had her first 1st grade field trip today. They went to a Dairy Farm and then went to the city park for lunch. Kaden and I meet the class at the farm and then followed them to the park, the kids had a blast! Abby was so glad to get to go on a field trip because Mallie has been on 4 field trips already this year and Abby has been very jealous of her.
When I picked the girls up from school today they both said "mama I am so tired" (I guess I keep them out to late last night) they went to bed at 12:00 when they are use to going at 9:00 so I know they were tried. They were so excited they got to wear their Lady Antebellum T-shirt to school today with jeans. Abby always tells me she is the only girl in her class that does not get to wear t-shirts (there are on 4 girls in the class) so it made her day today because she got to wear a t-shirt. Well, it was no problem getting them to bed tonight but when I went to Mallie's room I found where they had decorated her Christmas Tree (you never know what they are up to next).
Well, we had a great time at the concert. Brian was suppose to go but yesterday he call me and said he was not going to able to get home from work to go -- so did I know anyone that would go with me and help with girls. I told him I would ask Tori--she is a teenager that babysits for us and my children love her -- so we had a girls night out. We started with a great supper from Outback and then went to concert and it was Great!!! Abby love it -- she was singing and dancing the night away but on the other hand Mallie was tried and she slept half way through it but she did get to hear some songs she likes (American Honey and I Run). We had GREAT TIME!
Last weekend we had a photo shoot (fall session) and I just got the cd with the pictures on it so I thought I would post some of my favorite ones. Can you tell I like to get my children's picture taken? They hate it!
