Another Beautiful Weekend!

It has been another beautiful weekend and yes we enjoyed staying outside.  Saturday the girls spent the day swing, playing, riding the golf cart and 4-wheeler and then we went to Dublin to eat supper at Longhorn's.  Sunday was another beautiful day outside with the kids.

It is February 26 -27 and my B. Pear trees are blooming.  I cannot believe it!

Disney's Magic Show!

A friend Amber and I took our kids to Columbia, SC  to see Disney's Magic Show Live.  Amber and I love to take our children to the Disney Live shows (they are only little once).  This was the 4th or 5th show we have been to and planning to attend another one in April (Disney on Ice).  The show was GREAT!  Disney knows how to put on a show (you get what you pay for), but also get ready to spend some money.  We we thirsty and do you know what it cost for a lemonade twelve dollars, cotton candy --one bag ten dollars- a snow cone in a Mickey cup ten dollars and yes, the kids want all of it, so while spending all that money I remind myself they are only little once.

Busy Week!

It has been a busy week at the Sims' household -- holiday, school, homework, afternoon park trips, photo shoot, and next Disney Live.  I will be picking up the girls early from school tomorrow and we are going to Columbia, SC  with some friends to see a Disney Live Show.  We love Disney Shows!

Today, a great friend and a great photography Renee Agner took Kaden's two year pictures.  She came over to our house and we went to the railroad track down the road and in a field beside my mother in law's house.  Two is a very hard age to get good pictures because they are so active but I think Kaden did Great  today.   Thanks Renee!

Relaxing and Fun Weekend!

We ended the weekend with church on Sunday (I had to teach children's church), an afternoon nap, the end of the Dayton 500, and a great supper at Lewis Lake with family and friends.  The girls were out of school today for Presidents day, so we decide to head to Wrens.  We stopped and had lunch at The Little Dutch House, spent the afternoon at Gee and Papa's house (the kids help clean flower beds, painted a bird house, and rode the golf cart), then ended the afternoon at the Stapleton Park with some great friends.  It was great long weekend!

Beautiful Weather in February!

The weather has been beautiful the past two days and we have enjoyed beening outside.  The kids are so excited they can wear flip flops --- they dislike socks and shoes, and Kaden wore his first pair of flip flops today.  I hope the weather stays this way, but I know we still have some more cold weather on the way.

Winter Break!

The girls are out of school for Winter Break (Friday and Monday), and guess what it was 80 degrees yesterday (so funny).  The girls have been wanting to go putt putting so since it was going to be a nice warm day that is what we did.  We went to Augusta and had lunch at Applebee's (they picked), went putt putting, and then went and did little shopping (for Abby's birthday -- is coming up).  We took Kaden to the woods with Brian (he loves to watch the tractors) so we had a girls day out! So Much Fun!!

Sweet little Mallie!

This morning when I woke the girls for school Mallie said "mama, I can not go to school my cheek is still hurting"  so I gave in and let her spend the day at home with Kaden and I.  Kaden enjoyed having one of his sissy at home to play with and Abby was not happy about having to go school but she had three test today.  We are looking forward to a long weekend, the girls are out of school Friday and Monday for winter break.  We have planned a trip to Augusta tomorrow to have lunch and go play putt-putt.   It is suuppose to be very nice weather all weekend.

This afternoon, we went on  a ride on the golf cart and some how, not sure how it happened because it happened so fast, Mallie fell out and landed on the pavement.  She has some small scrapes and she is ok, but if you know Mallie she went crazy when she saw her face. She cried, cried, and cried some more -- poor little Mallie!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

The kids had a great Valentine's Day.  We started celebrating Sunday night, we went to Lewis Lake to eat super with my parents and Brenda and Fay Hadden.  The children were so excited because Gee and Papa & Uncle Fay and Bren brought them gifts.  On Monday, at school they had great Valentine's Parties in their classroom with their friend and got a stuff animal and three balloon from Brian and I.  They were so excited!
