Our Weekend!

The girls had a great first week of school. We have enjoyed a relaxing weekend!  Saturday we went to Olivia G. and Olivia A. birthday party.  It was a swimming party and the kids had a blast!

Today, we have had a relaxing day at home.

First Day of School! Watch out 3rd grade and 1st grade here we come!

The girls 1st day of school was Tuesday August 7, 2012. They had a great day and we are looking forward to a great school year with great teachers.

Open House at TJA and Back to School Party!

The girls had Open House on Friday, August 3rd and was so excited about going to see their new teachers and classrooms.  Abby will be in 3rd grade and Mallie will be in 1st grade --- yes, it is hard to believe they are that old.  They are growing up way to fast! They both have very sweet teachers and are very excited about a new school year! On Sunday, August the 5th the first grade class had a Back to School swimming party at Amber Dowdy's house and they had a Blast!

1st grade invited their sibling also.  So that meant Abby and Mary Dalton will get to have some fun too!  Sweet girls they have been friends and together since they were three.

Hilton Head Island

We enjoyed a trip to the beach before school started back.  We left on Saturday and came  home on Wednesday (me and the kids) but Brain had to leave on Monday morning and come back to work. It was a great little vacation to Hilton Head Island. We stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa and had a super time.  It had three pools, hot tub, kids activities, a great little restaurant pool side, and a very short walk to the beach. We just enjoyed relaxing and eating that week.

Up bright and early on Sunday to enjoy some time at the beach. Kaden and Brian decide to stay in and sleep late.

Some friend came down the night before we left and the kids really enjoyed playing together.

Kaden found Thomas the Train at the Tanger Outlets and he just had to ride him about four times. 

It was a fun trip! We love Hilton Head Island!

We we have been doing lately!! (July)

For the first two Saturday's in July,  I have been busy working with a children's consignment sale here in our home town.  Several ladies got together and set up a children's consignment sale and I participate in it and I am glad I did.  It is hard to get rid of all those cute little girl clothes but my girls have out grown them and it was time to make room for some new school clothes.  I love dressing my girls and Kaden but I guess when they get a certain age it is not so cute anymore and Abby started says "I hate ruffles and bows" but you better believe she did wear her share.  The kids have enjoyed the painting parties at "Mbellish It"  this has been a fun activity this Summer.  They enjoyed spending the day with great friends at the water park and a day at home with some friends.  We have planted a pumpkin patch and we have enjoyed watching it grow. The kids enjoyed the Unruh girls babysitting them and the fun activities they did all day long while I got to spend the day in Augusta all by myself! We have had a Great July!
