Sweet Weekend!

This weekend we celebrated the life of my sweet 87 year old grandmother.  My father called on Thursday morning to let us know that our Grandmother in Stapleton (that is what we called her) had been called to Heaven.  We attend her funeral on Saturday morning and celebrated her life. The girls were able to attend their friend's birthday parties this weekend because of sweet friends.  Abby's spent the the night with Raven (at a spend the night party with the girls in her class) and stayed with them during the funeral the next day and Mallie was able to attend Shelby's birthday party (swimming party) with Jackson.  My sweet friend Amber let Mallie go to the party with her and she had a blast!  Mallie and Jackson have been together since there were two years old and they are such sweet friends!  Amber took them to have lunch at the mall and to do a little shopping and then Mallie went to their house to play for a little while.  Mallie was one happy little girl when she got home!
We are getting ready for another busy week.  We have gymnastic practice all week, hair appointments, school events, and this weekend Abby has her State Gymnastic meet in Atlanta.

Easter Events 2012

We had a great time celebrating this Easter season.  We enjoyed dying eggs, Easter egg hunts, and spending time with family and friends.  We ended the Easter weekend with remembering the real meaning of Easter at Church Sunday morning we had a great service and the kids did a great job with their part of the service.

March 28th, Mallie's class had graduation pictures taken. It is so hard to believe Mallie will be graduating from K-5 in two months.

Spring Break we enjoyed granny's pool all week and a day trip to the lake.  I love spring time!

This is where we spent our Spring Break -- all most everyday the kids had somebody to come over to swim.  It was a great relaxing week at home.
