A review of our busy week after Spring Break!

This was a very busy and fast week.  It was back to the old routine school, packing bookbags, gymnastics, afternoons at the park, Kaden got a hair cut, homework etc....

Our calendars are getting full with all the end of the year events and we are looking forward to summer break.  We have plans to spend a lot of time at the lake this summer.

The Weekend -- ending Spring Break

We had a great weekend at home enjoying the warm weather.  On Saturday, the children went to help Carl (older cousin) feed his new calf's.  Carl is raising six calf's and the girls loved feeding them with a bottle.

On Sunday, we spent the day granny's pool and we also played in Kaden's new little pool. 

BEACH FUN! (Day 4 & 5 of Spring Break)

On Thursday, the girls and I headed to Jekyll Island for the night.  We meet my friend Amber and her two children there and we have a blast!  The kids played while we relaxed and soaked up the sun.  We had the best time!

Day Three of Spring Break

On Wednesday, we stayed home and just enjoyed being home all day and packed for a short visist to the beach.  The girls and I were leaving to go to Jekyll Island Thursday morning with some friends.

Day two of Spring Break!

Today, we meet some friends (Amber, Mary Dalton and Jackson) in Augusta for a movie and then went to Build a Bear at the mall.  We went to see Hop -- it is the cutest movie and then our plans were to go to the aquatic center and let the children swim but when we got there it was closed due to a Master's Event going on.  Yes, we had four little upset kids but we decided to go to the mall and do Build - A - Bear and let Abby go to Justices and spend her gift card she got for her birthday.  They had a blast!  Kaden went to work with Brian for the day, so we meet them in Louisville at WB Miller General Store so the kids could see the chicks again and Brian had to get a few things.

Continue to Pray for the Lee Family!

Today, I was able to go and visit my friend Karen and her children and it was very emotional.  On my way to see her I started feeling sick to my stomach and I know it was my nerves and wondering what to say to a young mother of three children that just lost her husband.  I just prayed and it was great visit --- so glad I went.   Please continue to pray for the Lee Family as they face some very difficult days ahead!  The kids enjoyed the day at Gee and Papa's house!

Sunday --- A beautiful day

Brian had to work on Sunday so the kids and I got up and got ready for church.  We go to a very small country church (New Hope UMC) not far from our house and there is no nursery.  Kaden and I were able to stay in church for about 15 minutes and then he decide he would not stop talking and was going to rome around.  So, we  visited children's church and spent some time on the playground.  During children's church the girls decided to have a play date with our pastor's girls and some friends that live down the rode (Lauren and Jake).  The children had a blast playing outside with their friend all day!   Kaden did not have a nap so he went to bed at 7:30 and slept to 9:00 on Monday morning.  It was a fun day!!
